My Favorite Things Giveaway #4 – Zebra Print Thank You Notes

It should come as no surprise to you that one of my favorite things is pretty paper and cute stationery. The only thing I like more than designing beautiful cards and stationery is sending cards to my friends. I love showing my heart-felt appreciation through a hand-written thank you note. I also love to receive hand-written notes in my mailbox. They always warm my heart and  bring a smile to my face! And those who know me know that nothing “plain” will do.

New Stationery Product to Benefit Pink Initiative and Breast Cancer Awareness

Joyful Heart Design To Donate Proceeds of New Stationery Product to Pink Initiative in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

Lubbock, Texas – October 6, 2009
Invitation and stationery company Joyful Heart Design has designed a new product to benefit Pink Initiative in response to Pink Initiative’s Be the Change $10,000 Challenge for October and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The product is a set of note cards displaying a silver princess crown printed on white linen paper and embellished with a pink jewel. The set comes wrapped with pink ribbon and is being sold by Joyful Heart Design on the company’s website, www.JoyfulHeartDesign.com/pinkinitiative or by calling 806-787-1450.

Pink Initiative is a community of wedding industry professionals passionate about funding awareness, outreach, education and research for breast cancer. “During our first twelve months, Pink Initiative’s board of directors and our growing group of vendor sponsors have taken our message to heart proudly displaying our logo on websites and blogs, spreading our message on Twitter, and kindly giving more than $7,000 thus far,” reported Emilie Sommer, founder of Pink Initiative and professional photographer with emilie inc.

Joyful Heart Design will also donate 10% of proceeds from all invitation and stationery items containing the color pink which are purchased during the month of October to Pink Initiative.

“I am honored to be a Pink Initiative sponsor and hope to inspire others with these products and encourage people to celebrate life now,” said JoDitt Williams, founder of Joyful Heart Design.

in the Texas South Plains area.
(Including Lubbock, Slaton, New Deal, Abernathy, Shallowater, Idalou, Lorenzo, Ralls, Crosbyton, Smyer, Ropes, Frenship and others, including home schools.)

Graduating from high school is a great accomplishment that deserves
recognition and celebration. We would like to honor and recognize the
accomplishments of one area high school senior with an amazing prize
package with a total value of over $500 to help them celebrate their
fabulous achievements.

We are asking parents, teachers, family, friends, employers and citizens of
the South Plains to nominate high school seniors whom they believe deserve
to be honored for their fabulous accomplishments. We will let you determine

Sweet Fifteen Zebra Print and Pink Ribbon Invitation

Have you noticed how popular zebra print is with women and girls of all ages? Teens and pre-teens love to wear zebra print tops and skirts, college age gals decorate their rooms with zebra print, young moms use zebra print in their baby decorations, executive ladies are stylin’ with their zebra print computer cases and eyeglasses, sassy women of all ages carry zebra print handbags and purses . . .

My zebra print and pink ribbon invitation is equally as versatile. It can be used for many different types of events, including baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birth announcements, birthday parties, girl’s night out parties, and any other type of girly party you can dream up. And, of course I have matching thank you notes and personalized stationery.

I recently had a customer use this design for her daughter’s Sweet Fifteen celebration. (Yes, some people celebrate Sweet Fifteen, rather than Sweet Sixteen.) I have also used this design as a Sweet Sixteen celebration invitation.
