25 Ways to Spread the Joy of Christ this Christmas | Day 4

In my previous post, I shared with you ways to Spread the JOY of Christ this Christmas through verbal communication. The next few posts will be about ideas for Spreading the JOY of Christ this Christmas through your written communication—anything that must be read, whether it be on paper on on your phone or computer screen.

This first idea may seem obvious to some, but I’m going to say it anyway:

Spread the JOY of Christ this Christmas by
sending out Christmas cards that have a CHRISTmas message!

Be very selective in the Christmas card design that you choose, skipping the ones that say “Happy Holidays” for ones that say, “Merry Christmas,” “Joy to the World,” “Happy Birthday Jesus,” or other sentiments that let the receiver know that the reason you celebrate this joyous season is to celebrate the birth of JESUS!

If you have been frustrated over a lack of Christmas photo cards with modern and fun designs that also included an expression of Christian faith, well I have good news for you. Christian Thanksgiving Photo Cards, New Modern Designs

Thanksgiving is a time when we stop and reflect on everything we are thankful for. I have lots of friends who would like to express their gratitude to God in a fun and creative way at Thanksgiving and also show appreciation to their friends, family and loved ones.

So that’s why I decided to create all new modern designs for Christian Thanksgiving Photo Cards. Along with a photo of your loved ones, each card also displays a Scripture and/or Christian sentiment.

A lot of people are now sending out Thanksgiving Cards instead of Christmas Cards for several reasons:

3. It’s a great way to show appreciation to your friends and family.
4. It’s a great way to share your faith in a very non-threatening way.

Call for Photo Submissions to be Featured on our Photo Cards

Are you a photographer looking for more exposure? Would you like to see your photos featured on Joyful Heart Design’s sample cards?

We are looking for quality photos to feature on our photo cards to show off our unique designs. Photographers, you now have the opportunity to submit your photos for consideration. We need photos for the following types of photo cards:

• Birth Announcements
• Baby Shower Invitations
• 1st Birthday Invitations
• Children’s Birthday Invitations
• Holiday Cards (Valentines, Easter, Mother’s Day, 4th of July, Christmas)
• Graduation Announcements
• Save the Date cards (for wedding)

To submit you photos, please follow these instructions:

1. LIKE our facebook fan page.
2. Post 1 – 4 photos on our fan page wall. (Rated G only!)
3. Click on the photo you just posted. Then click the SHARE link and ask your friends to LIKE your photo.
4. Photos will be chosen based on:
   • # of LIKES
   • quality of photo
   • how well they work with our designs
5. Photo submission will close at 9 pm CST on Monday February 21, 2011.
6. Voting (liking) will close at 9 pm CST on Monday, February 28th.

Photographers who get one or more photos chosen will receive:

• Link to your website or blog any time one of your photos is displayed (on my website, blog, facebook wall, facebook photos, email newsletter, etc.) (This is great for your SEO!)
• Photographer Spotlight blog post on our blog
• Invitation to submit 1 or 2 guest blog posts per month
• Promotional tweets at least once a week
• Opportunity to place an ad once a month in my email newsletter (currently over 800 subscribers)
• Opportunity to submit an unlimited number of photos to be used on our sample photo cards.

Joyful Heart Design promises that your photos will never be sold or redistributed. They will only be used on our photo card product samples.

My daughter graduated from high school this year and we had so much fun getting her senior pictures done and then creating her graduation announcements together. I make no apologies to the fact that this is my very favoritephoto graduation announcement. We chose pictures that showed off her unique style and personality. We added one of her favorite sayings: “Peace • Love • Idalou.” And since she likes fleur-de-lis, we used a decorative fleur-de-li ornament in a color that matched her photos to add some flair to the announcement. She also chose her favorite fonts that reflect her style. We were very pleased with the final result and she received lots of compliments on them.
